By registering for any course you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions below.
CONFIRMATION LETTER
An electronic confirmation will be sent once your application has been processed and approved by Admissions. No notification or processing of your application can occur until payment is complete. Please make sure your email address is accurate as this is our primary method of communication and confirmation for courses.
CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE
Certificates of attendance are issued via email upon receipt of course evaluation.
NOTES
Lodging, meals, and tuition come as one unit for the final Level III training – M7 ONLY. Payment is due on registration. This payment includes a $250 nonrefundable deposit and applies to the residential program only.
All other courses do not include lodging or meals. Students will need to find lodging close to the course location.
Cancellation, Course Change & Refund Policy:
PYTI reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen or unavoidable events. If a cancellation should occur due to a circumstance such as this, you will receive a full refund of tuition. PYTI does not reimburse students for transportation or lodging costs due to cancellation of courses.
If a cancellation by a student is required, the refund policy is as follows (minus 3% fee for the cost of credit card processing if paid with credit card). Student cancellations must be received in writing via email:
- Cancellations prior to 6 weeks will receive a full refund on tuition.
- Cancellations between 3-6 weeks from the course start will receive 75% tuition refund.
- Cancellations within 3 weeks of course start will receive 50% tuition refund.
- Cancellations less than 7 days before the start of class receive 25% tuition refund.
- No refunds are issued after course start.
- Transfer of tuition to another course can be arranged minus a $75 administrative fee. Tuition transfers expire one year are the original cancellation. Tuition transfer can only be granted to other onsite (not online) courses.
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT/PRICING
Course prices and registration policy are subject to change without notice. Course prices and dates shown in our online catalog supersede all other pricing and date sources, including but not limited to: email marketing, snail mail brochures, online brochures, and other references that may be contained within the PYTI website or PYTI correspondence. Course prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise noted. Payments accepted in US Dollars only unless otherwise noted. If course price changes after you have submitted your registration and payment and you have received confirmation of same from PYTI, you will not be billed for the difference in course price. Registrations are processed in the order received.
PYTI TERMINAL OBJECTIVES
Graduation and receipt of credentials is dependent on the approval of the instructor(s) and/or faculty, which includes passage of all tests, projects, and/or oral practicals. All hours must be attended in each course module to be eligible to receive any credential. Any contact hours missed must be made up with contact hours under the supervision and direction of the faculty advisor. Any non-contact hours not completed must be completed with non-contact hours. Proof of attendance or certificates of attendance will only be issued for the actual hours attended. Any time missed from any course module must be made up by attending the missed hours of that course module with the same course module at a later date.
FOR PROFESSIONAL YOGA THERAPIST CERTIFICATION ONLY
Graduating PYT students must send in a copy of their current license in the state which they practice. If the PYTI student is a student of a health care professional program, the student must provide evidence of active student status (i.e. letter from the registrar of the University or other institution they attend attesting to their current active status as a student). Licensure is not required for continuing education courses and to take Professional Yoga Therapy courses as continuing education only. Certification will not be awarded to non-medical professionals on completion of the Professional Yoga Therapist Certification Program unless the candidate practices under the direct supervision of a licensed medical professional. Special admission in these cases will be provided on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the PYTI Executive Director or authorized representative. Only continuing education credit hours will be awarded to non-medical professionals. PYTI will award retroactive PYT credentials to non-medical professional graduates who subsequently complete a licensed medical professional program through an accredited university or other program or can show that their PYT practice is under the direct supervision of a licensed medical professional. Living Well, Inc. does business as the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute. All checks should be written in US$ to Living Well, Inc. and posted to 10 Elm Ridge Ln, Greensboro, NC 27408.
ART OF LIVING RETREAT CENTER SPECIAL POLICIES
Art of Living Retreat Center has specific policies applicable to attendance of an event held at their facility. PTYI is there as their guest. Please note the below and comply with all local policies that will be briefed on the first day of class.
Art of Living Retreat Center (AOLRC) is intended to be free of any alcohol products, alcoholic beverages, or containers, and PYTI shall enforce such rule and policy and shall not allow or permit any alcohol to be displayed or utilized in any public place on the Property. In addition, no meat, meat products or meat derivatives shall be at any time served, eaten, or otherwise utilized anywhere on the Property. If it is determined by AOLRC that the provisions contained herein are violated by the Attendee, AOLRC reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to require that the event end immediately and the guests be removed from the Facilities. Those persons resisting removal in accordance with the forgoing sentence will be removed as trespassers by law enforcement and all costs associated with such a disturbance will become the responsibility of the PYTI. The stakes are high, folks. No refunds for ejections by AOLRC. Just like at any hotel, a credit card on file is required by each participant regarding all rooms to be used to pay for any damages caused in excess of ordinary wear and tear for their room. The credit card hold will be released within one week of departure pending inspection of facility and all rooms used by said participants. Credit card information will be collected at check-in by AOLRC.
