Living Well Podcast – Meet Dr. Ginger Garner

Living Well with Dr. Ginger Garner - podcast

The Living Well Podcast, hosted by Ginger Garner, PT, DPT, AT-Ret, is all about ending medical gaslighting and improving access to pelvic health services, but in a specific way – to improve access to scientifically proven integrative whole-person care.

Healthcare is incredibly expensive and siloed in America today, and in other countries as well, and Ginger’s mission with Living Well is simple:

  • to empower people to know what their rights are when it comes to pelvic healthcare, and when you need it
  • to let everyone know that they deserve holistic, integrative care that treats you as a person, not a diagnosis
  • to tell everyone what that kind of care looks like –
    • Your healthcare provider should look for root cause, instead of just treating symptoms
    • It should treat the whole person, not only a diagnosis
    • It should utilize low cost, highly effective and proven conservative care as a first line of defense, instead of costly drugs and surgery with questionable benefit
    • It should listen to and value your story, and trust your experience living inside your body

Since medical gaslighting most often happens to women, there is a special emphasis on empowering and educating women about their rights to pelvic health services and overall sound healthcare.

Dr. Garner has spent over 26 years tackling tough to treat cases in pelvic health and orthopaedics, and teaching doctors and therapists across the globe how to do the same. her work has focused on voice to pelvic floor therapy:
