My CCC was A Narrative Review of a Diastasis Recti Abdominis (DRA) with Ginger, Stacie Razzino, Stefanie Foster, Janet Drake and Paige Raffo. I also was able to assist with some editing for the textbook. We gathered and reviewed around 50 articles regarding everything there is to know, through August 2014 , about diastasis recti abdominis and submitted this to the Journal on Women's Health for submission. It was rejected, but I was able to present a poster at CSM in Anaheim in 2016.

This was a big project and even though we did not get published, I was able to develop a STRONG client referral base in DRA. Because I learned so much about DRA in the course of this project I have been able to get directly to new mamas and spread the PYT love via deep abdominal strengthening, breath coordination and grace in the first difficult year after a baby is born. I learned a tremendous amount about the process of research, submitting articles, collaborating with a group on this project and the feeling of rejection. I had some insight into the tedious, monumental task of writing a textbook as well.
