Ruth Goldeen is a Pediatric Out-Patient Occupational Therapist. Ruth earned her OT degree at University of Pennsylvania and later completed a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Special Needs Emphasis at University of Virginia. After working in Philadelphia, Jerusalem and California, Ruth relocated to Charlottesville, VA in 1987, and has worked for UVA Medical Center ever since. Ruth completed her PYT in 2017 and joined the faculty of Living Well Institute in 2020. Ruth uses yoga in her practice with individual patients as well as offering classes for Children with Special Needs and Adolescents with concerns including anxiety, depression and pain issues.
